Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Flynet Services collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects personal information when you use our website, Wi-Fi access, account, payment pages, promotions, and support channels.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:
- account details such as username, name, phone number and email address;
- verification details such as OTP, verification status, expiry times, login attempts, and security events;
- subscription and payment details such as package, amount, payment status, transaction or receipt reference, payment phone number, and dates;
- support details such as your name, phone, email, messages, requests, and our replies; and
- information you provide when applying a promotion/bonus or reporting a service problem.
We do not need your M-PESA PIN or account password to confirm a payment. Never send either to us or a third party. Only M-PESA handles your transactions.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, verify phone numbers, process and reconcile payments, activate or disconnect Wi-Fi access, manage subscriptions and promotions, provide support, send service messages, prevent fraud and misuse, maintain records, improve the service, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
3. Phone messages and communications
We may send OTPs, payment or subscription updates, security notices, and support messages to the phone number you provide. You can contact us to update your details or ask about service communications. Some essential messages are necessary to provide the account or payment service.
4. Sharing information
We may share the minimum information needed with trusted service providers that help us operate the service, including payment and mobile-money providers like Safaricom. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the network, investigate fraud or abuse, or respond to a lawful request.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share any of your password. Passwords and verification codes are stored or handled using security controls intended to protect them.
5. Storage and retention
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including account administration, payment reconciliation, support, security, dispute resolution, accounting, and legal obligations. Some records may remain after an account is closed where retention is required or reasonably necessary. We securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, subject to technical and legal limits.
6. Security
We use measures such as password hashing, access controls, session protections, verification limits, and encrypted connections where supported. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password, protect your phone and OTPs, and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and reasonable verification, you may ask us to access, correct, update, or delete personal information, object to or limit certain processing, or raise a complaint about our handling of your information. Some information may need to be retained for payment, security, fraud prevention, or legal reasons. You can update available account details in your account settings or contact us for help.
8. Cookies and sessions
Our website may use session cookies and similar technical storage to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember limited preferences, and operate the website. These are functional technologies rather than a sale of personal information. Disabling them may prevent login or other features from working correctly.
9. Children
Our services are intended for people who can lawfully enter into a service agreement. A parent or guardian should supervise a minor's use and payment activity. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can review it.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The latest version will be posted here with its update date. For privacy questions, correction or deletion requests, or complaints, contact Flynet Services at 0748656239 or 0117801289, or use our contact form.
